Ellie is an Illustrator and Designer.
She runs weekly life drawing classes and teaches workshops and classes in threare design and illustration.
She graduated from Central St Martins College of Art and Design in 2005 with a BA (Hons) in Theare: Design for Performance. Since then she has worked as a freelance designer (for film, theatre and television) and as an illustrator and artist.
Ellie's knowledge and experience designing for the film, theatre and television industries inspired her to develop a series of design and visual storytelling workshops for schoolchildren aged 14-18.
Her classes have been created around a number of different subjects, ranging from indroductory sessions in design and drawing to more in-depth textual analysis courses. She works with students in an engaging workshop fomat to develop their creative skills, visual response to texts and visual storytelling ability.
Ellie also co-runs life drawing sessions for artists and students in Leeds.
Since August 2009 these weekly events have attracted not only local art students and artists but also newcomers to the world of life drawing. These sessions recently culminated in the first of many exhibitions of the work of those involved.
